 A Healthy Diet

A diet is often used to get slimmer, though of course our diet is just what we actually eat day to day and not just something we do when we change our eating habits for a while, something which is not actually the best way to get healthy and can be potentially damaging to our health and goals.

 If you have health concerns which make you consider a diet then what you should be doing is looking at your everyday diet and your lifestyle for ways to make it better in ways that you can make part of your lifestyle. A healthy diet and lifestyle is not something to be scared of or even something far removed from what you perhaps do now, it should after all include foods you enjoy and definitely those which make you feel good about yourself. Being honest of course, does everything you do or eat make you feel good?

 Our diets and lifestyles should be full of things we enjoy and find satisfying and if you feel you have lost control of that to the point where you have become dissatisfied, unhappy or unhealthy, then now as you are looking into it might just be the right time to get some outside help to get you back on track.

 The answer to any specific problem could of course lie in several different areas, in diet or the exercise you do or don’t do, but also perhaps the key to changing for the better could be in the way you approach your life and health?

 What do you want to feel when you step on those scales or look in the mirror? Are you looking for a perfect body or some ideal weight? Ultimately we all want to feel good about ourselves and this is important to get the most out of life, but sometimes the way we look at our health and lifestyle doesn’t help. If you don’t feel or look the way you want then you can change that, it is within your control.

 Of course depending on where you are now then perhaps looking like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolee might be out of the question, though being happy shouldn’t be.

 You might need some help and that’s ok, making important life choices that will help you are not always easy and objective opinion and support might be just what you need to help make that change and develop the good habits that will change you from being dissatisfied and unhealthy, to feeling good and being truly healthy.

 

What Can I Do for You?

 I don’t preach miraculous exercise or dietary cures that will change you overnight and allow you to return to the bad habits that have disappointed you, what I will do is offer support and an educated and experienced common sense approach that will help you get what you want from yourself and your life in ways you can manage and enjoy for the rest of your life.

 

First Steps

 Our first steps involve discussing what you want and where you are now and can include some basic assessments of health, fitness and body composition so you can look back at a later date and see how far you’ve come.  I can then help you choose the best way forward for you using your diet, chosen physical activities and lifestyle as appropriate.

 There are no gym memberships or subscriptions needed as I work either from my own home or can travel to you if you prefer, all you really need is to want to change for the better.
